This assignment is designed to apply the concepts of multiple intelligences and learning styles to a real-world case study.

Step 1: Gather the results of your multiple intelligences assessment and Felder Learning Styles. (Refer back to your assignment submissions if you do not remember your individual results) 

Step 2: Read the following case study: 
The Dilemma
You are taking an Environmental Science class required by your major. You are excited to learn more about how you can help the environment, but you are not connecting with your instructor’s teaching style. The instructor tends to talk during the entire class and write short notes or single words on the board. You attempt to write all information written on the board in your notes, but cannot always read the instructor’s handwriting. In addition, the information does not seem to connect with the content in the textbook. Because of this, you are having trouble understanding the main points discussed, and find it difficult to maintain your excitement for the class. 
You decide to meet with your instructor during the instructor’s office hours. The instructor encourages you to take “good” class notes, attend every class, and read the text. You are still concerned because you feel you are already doing all of these things.
Step 4: Using the resources Multiple Intelligences and Felder Learning Styles and Strategies – Explanation provided in the module, determine the best course of action to be successful using your individual top two multiple intelligence strengths and all four learning styles by answering these questions with a minimum of one paragraph for each of your intelligences and learning styles. 
How can you use your specific multiple intelligence strengths to assist you in attempting to be successful in this class? Give specific tasks you could practice based on your top two intelligences.
How can you use your learning style (Active or Reflective, Sensing or Intuitive, Visual or Verbal, Sequential or Global) to be more successful in the class? Give a specific task you could practice for each of your four learning style dimensions.

Grading criteria: 20 points. Specific suggestions based on the readings are given for your top two multiple intelligences and all four dimensions of your learning style. A minimum of one paragraph for each of your intelligences and learning styles with proper grammar and punctuation.

I knew that I was visual. I need to see and feel things so my brain can process what I’m learning. The other stronger one is interpersonal, and this is true because I feel like the psychology of the family is always helping others solve their problems.

Linguistics is my weakest. I do not like to talk a lot, not even in Spanish. I am not a person who has fancy words to say or exciting things to say.
