What is an Annotated Bibliography?
An Annotated Bibliography lists bibliographic entries followed by a brief
paragraph, i.e., the annotation. The annotation itself should provide a summary of
the content of the bibliographic entry and its potential use as evidence
within the paper. Annotated bibliographies are part of the research process and are methods in helping plan the research project (such as brainstorming, an outline, etc.).
Note that in the final paper, annotations are not included in the final paper’s bibliography page; this Annotated Bibliography assignment is a separate process.

1. Briefly summarize the source.
2. How you will use it towards your research project.
