Essay question:

How has television innovated in the presentation of news since the 1950s? Please give examples from at least two different broadcasters/news providers.
Chosen broadcasters: (BBC and ITN/ITV)
The essay should demonstrate that you have a clear essay structure, ie an introduction that directly addresses the question by defining the key terms, saying what examples you will analyse and what you will focus on in your analysis of your chosen examples (b) a main body of argument and analysis, divided into short, distinct paragraphs; and (c) a conclusion which clearly and succinctly summarises your answer to your chosen question.
You should draw upon and cite at least two readings listed on the module. These readings can be found on the course’s moodle page, either in the Key reading, or in the ‘Additional Resources’ section at the bottom page of each week’s session. You will need to show evidence that you have engaged with the readings meaningfully and critically.
