 Format (20pts.)-

1. Must have a Works Cited page with a secondary source (can be an online source), and in-text citation parentheses (consult ‘The Owl at Purdue’ site) for the source in the body section of the essay.
2. Your essay must be typed, double-spaced and in size 12 font.
3. It must have a double-spaced heading in the top left-hand corner
of the first page only, with the following information (in the exact order): your name, instructor’s name, class, date (February 12, 2024).
4. Lastly, in the header, your last name and page number must appear.
5. A title for the paper is required.
Introduction (20pts.)-
1. Must identify the topic that will be explored.
2. Signal the importance of the topic (and possibly the consequences
of not taking the topic seriously).
3. Briefly mention the specific cause/s or effect/s that will be
discussed.
Body (20pts.)-
1. Support causes or effects with examples, details, or statistics.
2. Have clear transitions (start of a new paragraph) from the
discussion of one cause or effect to the discussion of the next
cause or effect.
3. Refer to your secondary source to strengthen your argument and
place an in-text citation parentheses at the end of the sentence.
Conclusion (20pts.)-
1. Stress the consequences of not recognizing the importance of
essay’s topic.
