Write a two-page reflection on the theme of Schneider’s
“Religion and Spirituality: Strangers, Rivals or Partners”
In writing a reflection paper, engage a theme in an article in a way that demonstrates your own informed opinion on the subject. For example, you engage the subject matter in the article written by Sr. Sandra Schneiders. The method of interaction and composition is as follows,
- Method
- Read the article for comprehension; understand the terms, the arguments, and take notes to increase your knowledge and shape your own opinion.
- What does the author understand about the theme?
- Why is it important?
- How does the author proceed in her argument?
- Brainstorm your response to theme.
- Compose and outline of your reflection paper.
2. In the work of composing the reflection
- Choose a position you wish to take/ limit your topic to the two pages – hence refine what you hope to write about and its scope / write a thesis statement / make your points with arguments for your position.
- The conclusion includes a summary of your position, and makes a suggestion for further study, or some action or some consideration.
