 Introduction
Moral dilemmas can be challenging while working as an intelligence professional. You are tasked to keep secrets from people, to include your immediate family, there are times you cannot disclose where you are working and what your work entails. Sometimes you must lie and mislead and have a cover story for what you are doing. When supporting national security objectives, many intelligence professionals are OK with this, but it still can weigh on even the most senior intelligence professional; the cover stories and not being able to discuss your career in-full with your loved ones. Other times, as an intelligence professional you could be asked to partake in an operation that might be questionable in nature regarding the legality of the operation or the task. When, or if, these circumstances arise you will start to ask yourself many moral questions concerning the operations or the methods for completing the operation. This can be a struggle for some intelligence professionals, and as a student of the intelligence profession you need to be aware of this.

In this forum you will have an opportunity to apply what you learned from chapter 13 of your textbook Ethical and Moral Issues in Intelligence, paying particular attention to the section General Moral Questions. Ensure you can clearly identify the two most compelling moral issues that stand out to you and be able to explain why these moral issues are important.
