hould college be free?  Write an argument essay either in favor of or against free national college. 

This is not a research paper, so you won’t use outside sources or a Works Cited page.  I want you to try and present a sound argument based solely on facts.  Avoid opinion or generalizations. Use reason as a basis for your argument.  This is a deductive argument, not an inductive one.  Why would these things be good or bad for America?  What impact would they have?

Argument Format: (Be sure to cover these elements in your draft.)

  1. Debunk false claims about your position, misconceptions.
  2. Address the true aspects, faults of your side.
  3. Propose solutions
  4. 3rd person POV (No: I or you)

Your brainstorm and essay must be in MLA format.  Please post them as one attachment (a Word attachment).  If I cannot open your file, you will not receive credit.
