Litature Review: A qualitative case study of the danger of the use of social media/texting and driving

Use the incident you described in Assignment 2 as the topic of your conceptual literature review.

Topic: (Social media/texting and driving)
How do people experience, understand, reproduce , and contend with the danger in their consumption use of social media/texting and driving?
There are four main steps to take for this assignment:
Conduct secondary library research to find 8 scholarly journal articles addressing aspects of your research topic.
Try to find recent articles focused on any combination of the issue, the audience demographic, the medium, the genre of content.
You want to gain a good understanding of what current research says about the media social problem you are researching.
You may need to open up the parameters of your library search to find relevant articles, such as looking for a wider age range, or a wider gender/sex/race range, or look more generally at ‘social media’ or just ‘media’ instead of a specific app such as TikTok.
For example, you might start with the search words ‘TikTok’ and ‘Racism’ and ‘Teens’, but that might be too narrow. So open it up by changing the keywords to ‘Social Media’ and ‘Racism’ and ‘Teens.’ You can open it up even more by removing ‘Teens’ from the search terms.
Add the concepts you find in the 8 articles to the Excel table as explained in the video.
Together with the 4 theoretical articles grounding the research in this course, you will have a total of 12 (U), 16 (G) bibliographic entries
Copy each column from the Excel sheet that you consider important to include in your lit review (usually 8 to 10 concepts) and paste them as plain text into the Word.doc template to create an outline.
Edit the Word.doc outline to produce your Conceptual Literature Review.
Follow this outline to guide your final written assignment.
