You need 20 suitable scholarly articles on your research topic IN ASA format (MENTIONED IN PDF); you may include some theoretical references as well. I need to see these right away, and you need to clearly identify theories and methods used, so that you can adapt some in a practical way.

It is OK to do observations & interviewsin the “group” you identify….in-operson and on-line? This is what you mean by “ethnographicobservations of online groups”. You will need access and permission from participants to observe.
Surveys are a method but you cannot do both intensive interviewes and surveys of the same population. As another method, it is too cumbersome to do this on top of foing your other observation, interviews, and content analysis.
Thecontent analysismethod might be applied to the capturing of “political converations on social media sites”. These would be your documents for a content analysis.
