Select a topic, preferably from
your field practice (Can also be from history or current events), that has
general social importance. Obtain prior approval of the topic from your
instructor(In the past students have discussed such issues as: Abuse of
power within the client/worker relationship, Abuse of research
participants-Tuskegee experiments, Stanford Prison Experiment, Medical testing
and experimentation on animals and prison inmates, etc.).

Discuss the history of an ethical dilemma (what
factors-social, religious, professional, community based, etc.. led to the
formation of this problem.)
2.
Present a case in which someone challenged this
ethical dilemma (provide a narrative of how they fought back, what steps they
took to challenge the ethical dilemma, were they successful? What held them
back?
3.
Throughout the paper, cite at least 3 relevant
sources from literature (This means peer reviewed sources) on the topic and on
the value and ethical considerations.
