Violence against Black women in America, via police brutality, domestic violence and mass incarceration.

This is my thesis masters project. I have written about 20-25 pages (of a 50-60 pg Master’s thesis project) but have been facing the same struggle of articulating a strong argument and missing a theoritical framework according to my thesis advisor and I agree. I need to refine my writing and need help making my arguments more clear. I would like some help particularly on structuring an argument, or thesis research questions around violence against women of Color, mainly Black American women.

I would like to split the Master’s thesis into 4 chapters, an Intro and three chapters.

The intro gives an overview of the issues facing Black women. While Chapter 1 discusses police brutality, Chapter 2 mass incarceration and black women’s treatment in the criminal justice system and prison system, and Chapter 3 can be on domestic violence or Policy reforms that to end racial bias and the injustice tying all the chapters together using the theoretical frameworks like that of Kimberly Crenshaw’s Intersectionality theory and Critical Race Theory in this thesis.

I do have an intro and first chapter about police brutality somewhat written and “completed” to give an idea of how I write and what I need help with.
