The sources used should be “What should colleges teach? Part 3″ by Stanley Fish (written in the New York Times”, “Should writers use they own english” By Vershawn Ashanti Young , ” The ‘Standard English’ fairytale” by Laura Greenfield, and jus bring up different views from my classmates “notes” which I will bullet down below
– Fish was hypocritical and wasn’t being inclusive
– English has different dialects/accents that should be recognized as well
– There shouldn’t be a dominant language but that’s how society is raised
– Theres a certain way your expected to speak or write like how biology there’s lab reports that are supposed to be written a certain way
