Instructions:
1. Outcome Selection: Select one outcome of the Second Industrial Revolution to focus
on. This could include urbanization, labor conditions, economic growth, environmental
impact, technological innovation, or any other consequence of industrialization. (See
below for a list of possible topics) If you are interested in one particular cause (i.e, the
development of the railroad), you can also begin with that cause and discuss the various
effects it generated.
2. Cause Analysls: Research and analyze the cause or causes behind the selected
outcome. Consider the role of technological advancements, economic factors, social
changes, individual actions, ideological shifts, or any other relevant factors. Identify the
primary cause or multiple causation for the chosen outcome.
3. Effect Analysis: You can go further by exploring the effects of the chosen outcome on
soclety, economy, environment, or other aspects of life during the Second Industrial
Revolution and beyond. Consider both intended and unintended consequences,
short-term and long-term impacts, and the significance of the outcome in historical
context.
4.Presentation Preparation: Create a PowerPoint (PPT) presentation to share your
findings Your presentation should include:
-Introduction of the chosen aspect of technology, industry, or another factor during
the Second Industrial Revolution.
– Discussion of the cause(s) behind the selected outcome.
-Examination of the effects of the outcome on historical events and developrments.
-Conclusion summarizing the key points and insights gained from your analysis.
-Visual aids, such as images, charts, or graphs, to enhance understanding.

-Aim for a clear and organized presentation with well-structured slides.
-Use concise text and visuals to convey your points effectively.
