Currently enrolled in Augustana college. The campus mostly focuses on accounting. I wanted something where each department is given equal focus. I had chosen accounting as a major as well but decided that it was not what I was interested in. Even though top firms such as Deloitte came for me I realized that I was just getting away from my goal.
I grew up in a land surrounded by nature, Nepal, and being born with a dust allergy decided that I needed to work for a future toward healthier living. Throughout my life, I have seen how technological advancements have managed change in health care, productivity, and communication. It has been the drive towards connecting many people all over the world and providing efficient healthcare. So I believe that computer science and data analytics will be able to create something that fosters a healthier future.
Right now my focus has been to solely learn how technology works and grasp concepts.
The University of Virginia has really advanced facilities and gives importance to all of the fields not just one. Their approach towards machine learning is very interesting.

I have seen how gap between waste management and technology. If we can use technology to for advanced healthcare systems then I am sure we can do the same thing for waste management as well.
I have enjoyed my time here at Augustana as well though, I choose this college for its small and diverse group. The class sizes being small I thought I would be able to grow close with my professors and bond a strong relationship.
