- Plato’s readings about Socrates: “Apology” and “Crito”
o Matthew Desmond’s Poverty, by America - Paper discusses 2 of the readings, using direct quotes and/or paraphrased ideas to
support a point. Proper citation attributes the source. Do not use lengthy quotes.
Paper does not bring in extraneous information from other sources.
Paper has an introductory paragraph.
Paper has a concluding paragraph that closes out the essay.
Paper has Works Cited or References page (this is not part of the 3-page
minimum.)
Paper has been proofread and is free of distracting errors with spelling,
punctuation, and grammar.
Paper is submitted by deadline.
