This is a Proposal Essay!
Think of a problem that you can help solve, an issue on which you can have some real impact. Keep it on the small scale.
You may not be able to solve all of world hunger in 3 pages, but you can propose a solution to help food insecure students on campus. You may not fix all issues with the labor shortage in our area, but you can suggest a more streamlined schedule for your workplace to make the most out of the employees they have on staff.
Make sure you understand the audience, purpose, stance, context, media, and design of your proposal.
This should be a minimum of 3 pages in MLA format.
Have 2 sources used in your proposal and cite them on the works cited page.
Some topics may require different outside sources- like statistics on the need or impact of a certain proposed change. You also may use sources to get the cost or budget parameters of a project. For example, if you want a school district to provide wifi for students who do not have home access, you’d want to be able to provide figures for that. It will be up to you to decide what kind or research will make your proposal stronger.
