This is an argument research paper. I have listed the stance my paper will be based upon.
You will need to create an annotated bibliography of 8-12 diverse, high-quality potential sources for your researched argument paper.
Requirements (for each source):
- Cite each source according to MLA guidelines as you would on your Works Cited page (a huge time-saver!)
- Include a brief 3-4 sentence objective summary immediately following the citation. Follow the same guidelines for summary we’ve worked with all semester (attributive tag in every sentence, chronological, objective).
- Include a 1-2 sentence personal evaluation of the source. This evaluation should indicate how this source might (or might not) contribute to your research (not your opinion of the source itself, but your opinion about how effectively it would serve as evidence for your argument; be specific, and think rhetorically).
- An appropriately formatted Annotated Bibliography based on MLA guidelines.

Formatting & Expectations
- Sources should appear in alphabetical order by the author’s last name. If an author is not provided, alphabetize based on the first major word of the article title.
- Times New Roman, 12-point font
- Double-spaced (no “extra” spaces)
- One-inch margins
- Minimal errors in punctuation or accuracy/completeness of information.
- I already have 5 sources that I need to use in my paper in my annotated bibliography.
