To earn a B, complete the following criteria:
Create a piece that:
- is at least 4 full pages in length double spaced,
- is an open letter, direct letter to an individual, an opinion piece, a blog post, or a traditional argumentative essay,
- includes a reasoned thesis that is explored throughout the piece,
- includes 4-6 pieces of supportive evidence, explanations, and connections to the thesis the 4-6 pieces of supportive evidence should represent at least 2 different types of sources (see list above)
- includes a strong counter-argument and the stakeholders who would likely argue it.
- includes a refutation of the counter-argument
Respond to that issue by crafting a reasoned thesis (a thesis that answers the question at issue and offers the 1 major reason for that answer) that you explore through out the piece.

OR
- Ex Reasoned Thesis) No, the University of Oregon does not offer students adequate resources and support to make informed financial decisions about college loans because UO does not offer financial counseling to students before they are admitted.
