For this discussion, you will create an initial post that answers all of the following questions:
- In Modules One and Two, you created a research question with at least two variables. Rewrite your research question here. (It is okay to update or even change it.) List your two variables. For each of your variables, also create (invent) and list a small set of data that could represent that variable.
- For both variables, using the data you invented, calculate the measures of center (mean, median, and mode) and the measures of variance (range, variance, and standard deviation). Include the results and any work. (You are welcome to use Excel).
- Think about what these measures tell you about your data. Use these values to describe your data in words. For example, is your data skewed and how do you know? Which variable has the greater variation?
- In your daily life or career, which of these measure do you use? Choose one and give an example.
