Idea:
Exploring
the intricate ways in which products, specifically pharmaceuticals like
Ozempic, influence societal norms, focusing on the impact these norms have on
body image and societal expectations. This thesis aims to demonstrate that
constraints on the body and societal norms are not only established through
tangible objects (like corsets) or explicit laws but can also be shaped by
intangible factors, including the promotion and consumption of specific
products. The investigation into Ozempic will serve as a case study to examine
these dynamics.

- Examine pathways through which products like Ozempic become societal norms.
- Discuss the implications for consumer behaviour and fashion trends, which results in psychological and sociological responses behind this process.
The aim is to write on these with a link to Fashion (I am in a fashion MANAGEMENT course)
The teacher believes there is a space of research in this domain, which poses the question:
is it the the product that actually creates these norms. They open up the need before we are aware of it is needed because having a product on the market makes us think we must need it.
