Nestlé’s global supply chain and its market power in the food and beverage industry

A brief introduction to the topic: innovation, organization, or region. For projects
analyzing an innovation, explain what it is as well as its evolution, utilization, con-
straints, economic impact, and potential. For projects analyzing an organization,
discuss the key product(s) of that organization and its relevance to the broader
economy. For projects analyzing a region, you should focus on a particular prod-
uct or service that characterizes that region and the history of how came to be
developed and emphasized in that region.
All projects should include an investigation of a relevant supply chain – whether it
is the supply chain of the topic itself (innovation, organization, or region), or how
that topic affects another supply chain. Your analysis of the supply chain should
incorporate at least 3 concepts from the class. This includes but is not limited to:
Product characteristics
Investment decisions
Risk (producer or consumer)
Adoption/diffusion
Marketing
Technology transfers
Bioeconomies
Climate change
US (or other) agriculture
Include a numerical analysis to support one of the claims you make in your paper.
Include your own conclusion or recommendation based on your analysis of the
supply chain.
Cite at least 7 sources of a variety of types in your introduction to the topic and
analysis of the supply chain. These should include both general/background sources
but also specialized sources that conduct some form of analysis relevant to the topic
and supply chain. You should also cite the source of the data used in your numerical
analysis. Sources should be cited in the body of the paper and it should include a
bibliography at the end
