Interview with a Rural Leader in the Counseling Profession : You will interview someone who you consider to be a leader in the counseling profession and who works in a rural setting. Write a 3 page summary of the interview as well as your personal reaction to that interview. Please incorporate the following:
• Describe the rural mental health leader you are interviewing. What are his or her leadership qualities, how long have they worked in a leadership role, what leadership challenges do they face on a day-to-day basis, and how they came to serve in a rural setting?
• How did the interview support or challenge your definition of leadership?
• How did the interview enhanced or challenge your understanding of the skills necessary to be a good leader?
• Name at least three things you learned from this interview that will make you a better leader?
