Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association chapters homework directions
- Please prepare three (3) questions/comments addressing the chapter’s content. These need to demonstrate your engagement with the read material, and NOT be questions about definitions of words you have not encountered before. They also need to come from the ENTIRE chapter, not just the beginning of the chapter.
- Do NOT ask questions which are answered in the text; ask questions about information that is not clear to you.
- Please note the page and section number of the fragment you are addressing in your question. These will help me identify the areas you are addressing.
- Chapters homework assignments will be graded on a three-point scale:
- 3 points: excellent work; thoughtful questions covering the span of the chapter, each includes relevant page and section number.
- 2 points: good work; questions could be stronger or do not cover the whole chapter; OR page and section numbers are missing; OR it is turned it after the deadline.
- 1 point: poor work; some questions missing, or questions focus on definitions, or don’t relate to the chapter; page and section numbers are missing.
