It will investigate the accessibility of educational opportunities and the barriers preventing many young males from accessing them. By exploring the requirements for success and highlighting the experiences of those who have overcome obstacles to achieve success, this research aims to dispel myths and provide tangible evidence of the real issues affecting the black community. Conducting this research as an African American will lend credibility and personal insight into the findings, contributing to a deeper understanding of the complexities involved.
