Mini Literature Review Tutorials and Academic References:
- From the beginning of this course, you have been preparing for the mini-literature assignment.
- You chose a topic early on and it is time to develop it into a formal research paper.
- Your paper should be 6 to 8 pages in length, excluding the title page and reference section.
- You are required to include at least 7 to 10 academic peer-reviewed journals.
- Each section should be clearly labeled and free of grammatical errors.
Here are some common errors and general guidelines for the final paper:
- The word count should be around 2000 to 2500, double-spaced, Times New Roman – NO IMAGES OR GRAPHICS
- The title page, running header, and reference section are a MUST for all drafts
- Make sure each section is clearly labeled (introduction, the title of articles, conclusion, reference, etc)
- Again, I can’t express enough that APA is a must – make sure the title page, running header, page numbers, and reference section are correct.
- Proofread your work – again and again before final submission.
- Ensure you have enough research to cover the minimum 6 to 8 pages
- Make sure your research covers your topic completely and you eliminate all loopholes (if you don’t think it is covered enough… add in some more research)
- Have fun! This should not be a stressful experience and you should be learning about a topic you enjoy.
- Make sure you put your best effort into your final draft!
