For reaction paper #2, read chapter two, Meet Your Happy Chemicals, and chapter six, New Habits for Each Happy Chemical, from “Habits of a Happy Brain” by Loretta Graziano Breuning, PhD.

Then write a 2-4 page reaction paper that adheres to the following format:
– The first paragraph should be your overall reaction to the two chapters.

– For paragraphs 2-5, choose one addictive experience (eg, food, gambling, sex,
drugs, shopping, internet/technology, work) to write about. In the second
paragraph discuss how the addictive experience you chose may be influenced by
dopamine as discussed in chapter two. For the third paragraph discuss how
endorphins as described in chapter two influence your chosen addictive
experience. Do the same with paragraphs 4 & 5 to discuss the roles of oxytocin &
serotonin as described in chapter two for your addictive experience. Again, you
will write about the same addictive experience for each of the brain chemicals.
 – For paragraphs 6-9 you should refer to chapter six’s description of new habits.
You will choose a different addictive experience for these paragraphs. Using one
paragraph per each brain chemical (dopamine, endorphins, oxytocin, &
serotonin), discuss how you could implement some of the new habits with a client
struggling with your new chosen addictive experience & how they could help your
client.
A reaction paper is your response to the specific topic.
It is not a mere summary.
