The research will focus on the solidarity culture of Japanese society, the government’s effectiveness in distributing disaster relief, political parties’ disaster relief strategies, and voters’ perceptions of these policies. Additionally, it will be investigated what criteria Japanese voters use when evaluating disaster aid and how this aid affects their political preferences.
