About the Assignment
In this course, you’ve learned how to hone your writing to better articulate your arguments, to conduct research and evaluate sources, to record your research in an academic paper, and to deliver your findings in a presentation format. Through the assignments in this course, you will demonstrate what you have learned by selecting a research topic, choosing your sources, developing your argument, writing a research paper, and delivering a presentation on your research.
For this assignment, you will select sources for your research paper to support the topic and thesis statement you wrote in assignment 1.
Prompt
For this assignment, you will conduct research about the topic you selected in Assignment 1. You must research and choose at least four credible, academic sources to support the thesis of your research paper. Your sources should come from scholarly, peer-reviewed journals.
After you have selected your sources, list and properly format them on a Works Cited page. Then write a 300-word summary of each source (for a minimum total of 1,200 words) and explain how you plan to use them in your paper.
