You should identify and incorporate evidence from the text which support Zucchino’s perspective and your conclusions.
Building upon the main idea of the text, you should place the monograph into the context of the class (1870-present American history).
2/3 of the essay should be devoted to identifying and critiquing the author’s argument, and 1/3 to linking it to the class (American history 1860-present).
