Write the first draft of your Science Presentation paper. You will receive feedback on this first draft if submitted before or on April 6.
- You must include your Works Cited (as done for SP2, with any corrections to the APA format of your references).
- You should organize your paper as developed for your SP3 outline and use in-text citations.
- Therefore, for this assignment, you are writing and turning in the rough draft of your Science Presentation Research Paper. This paper should be a minimum of two pages and maximum of five pages (double-spaced, Normal 1” margins, and 12-point font; not including your Works Cited).
Check your SafeAssign score – but click through the Originality Report to see where matches occur (if any). You will likely have matches to your previous writing on SP1 through SP3. If there were no initial problems with the SafeAssign on those sections of the matching work submitted by you, then these SafeAssign matches are considered “false positives” and they can be ignored. Feel free to reach out to an instructor if you are concerned – and please give two business days for a response.
Refer to the examples of the final paper, to see how in-text citations are used. These are posted in the Week 10 folder as well as in the current folder, “Science Presentation Information and Assignments.”
Remember to review the following videos regarding the importance of citations and APA format. These were also covered and practiced during Lab Ten. If you are citing a website or other source besides an academic journal article, check the links included for the SP2 assignment.
