The assignment is to write term paper for a music class

The instructions I provide in text:
For the first step in the term paper assignment pleases submit:
1) Thesis statement (what are you researching). Please take a look online for suggestions on how to write a good thesis statement. There are many good links to be found.
2) List of at least six sources for your research (in Chicago Style bibliography format). You may have more. Take time to find good sources. The SMC Library has Oxford Music Online which is a great resource. You also have access to many scholarly journals through JSTOR. Remember to check bibliographies in each source. They can lead you to other possibilities.
3) A list of three pieces of music that relate to your thesis. Audio links should be included
4) I would also like a brief paragraph on why you have chosen this particular subject.
I also provide you with a file that states the full assignment, just for reference on how it should look like.
