hidden curriculum. This assignment will allow you to explore these topics and develop ideas for
your curriculum change plan. With this assignment, you will reflect on essential curriculum
change plan implementation considerations.
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Download and complete the Curriculum Change Plan: Part 5 – Curriculum Knowledge
and Implementation Template. The template sections are described as follows:
• Curriculum Integration Approaches – Explain how you will adopt curriculum
integration approaches. What are some of the theoretical benefits and disadvantages?
Which approach do you favor, and how does it specifically relate to your curriculum
change plan?
• Student-Centered Approaches – Identify three student-centered approaches that you
will use for your curriculum change plan. Why did you select these, and how do they
align with your curriculum change plan? What are some of the potential advantages and
disadvantages?
• Hidden Curriculum – Describe and reflect on the hidden curriculum. Explain and
analyze how this might affect your curriculum change plan efforts. Identify two strategies
that you would use to address any potential hidden curriculum issues. Provide a detailed
overview of these two strategies and your rationale for your strategies.
Not including the title page or references, there should be at least 1,500 but no more than
2,000 words of text in the body of your template. List the word count on the title page of the
template. Use complete, error-free sentences. Use at least six scholarly resources to support
the claims. Use at least two in-text citations from a book. Use at least one Bible verse to
support your claims. Cite and attribute all information correctly in all needed locations. Use
correct and current APA formatting for the entire assignment, including all in-text citations
and references.
