Annotated Bibliography On The Importance of Promoting Work-Life Balance and Gender Equality in the Workplace

About the Assignment

In this course, you’ve learned how to hone your writing to better articulate your arguments, to conduct research and evaluate sources, to record your research in an academic paper, and to deliver your findings in a presentation format. Through the assignments in this course, you will demonstrate what you have learned by selecting a research topic, choosing your sources, developing your argument, writing a research paper, and delivering a presentation on your research.

For this assignment, you will write an outline, rough draft, and Works Cited page for your research paper. It will use the thesis that you wrote in assignment 1 and the sources you selected in assignment 2. Your rough draft must be between 1,750 and 2,000 words, excluding your works cited page.

Prompt

In the previous two assignments, you selected and refined your topic choice, thesis statement, and source selections. Now you will put those components together to design the outline of your paper and write a rough draft of your research paper.

In your outline, include your thesis statement and the topic sentences of each body paragraph you plan to include. Lay out the order of your paragraphs in the order you think is best to support your argument. Indicate which sources you will use to support the topics of each paragraph and which details from those sources you will use.

Once your outline is complete, use it to write a rough draft of your research paper. Make sure that the thesis statement, topic sentences, order of paragraphs, and use of sources is consistent between your outline and your rough draft.

Two assignments to refer to are added.
