Students will identify an issue facing a group (i.e. a particular classroom or school-wide) and develop an intervention to address that issue.


Think of it as a mash up of the FBA and BIP but less formal.
  • The teacher comes with a class problem
  • Not a report for a kid’s file
  • Classroom management
  • Choose a behavior that is present in a group that needs cleaning
  • Frequent bathroom use
  • Observe how and note how frequent behavior is occurring
1. Background 
  • How many kids?
  • Adults?
2. Establish baseline data
  • What’s the behavior?
  • Possitive/opposite?
3. Show data that shows frequency.
4. Back it up with a literature review of why intervention works
5. Include conditions under which you modify.
6. Include conditions under which you terminate.
7. Include references.
