Different ways of digitally communicating between young adults and adults, and their impact on interpersonal relationships

I am first providing the Paper Requirements, and then all the information for the paper that I have. (I have all of the information you need)

Paper requirements: 

Engage thoughtfully with a question at the intersection of communication, society, and technology (I ALREADY HAVE ONE AND WILL PROVIDE BELOW!)

Be about 1500-2000 words in length
Reference at least two course concepts
Define/explain concepts (assume reader is not familiar with concept) 

Demonstrate how concepts apply / advance understanding of studied topic 

(I will provide the sources) Include at least five outside (non-course) resources.

Include both in-line citations and a references section at the end summarizing outside resources, using APA7 format 

Consider ethical issues, including using only pseudonyms when appropriate 

Writing style has good flow, clear of major grammatical and editing errors (including repeated spelling mistakes).

Compare and contrast how two groups use technology in personal communication. These “groups” can include your own technology use as well as that of your peers, your family, society at large, an age group, or another group of interest. How do the affordances of technology enhance or hinder interpersonal relationships? Do differences in habits ever lead to conflict or misunderstanding? Do differences in habits seem to be correlated with personal characteristics (i.e., age, outgoingness)? Are there larger, social implications to these patterns of technological habits? What advice do you have for someone looking to improve their own relationship with technology or to strengthen their interpersonal relationships?

Topic:
Delve into the effects of technological trends such as video calling, instant messaging apps, or social networking on interpersonal relationships within these age groups. Analyzing the role of technology in maintaining social connections, forming new relationships, or addressing communication challenges could provide valuable insights. 

Research Question:
How does the adoption and usage of digital communication among young adults and adults impact their interpersonal relationships and communication patterns?

1. Networks:  a complex system of interconnected nodes representing individuals or groups within society. These nodes interact through various technological platforms and communication channels, forming a network that shapes and influences how people communicate and maintain relationships. Example → instagram, linkedin, online social networks 
2.  Affordances: Affordances highlight how technology influences and shapes our behavior by suggesting or enabling certain actions. For instance, social media platforms afford us the ability to connect with others, share information widely, and participate in online discussions, which in turn influences how we communicate and interact in the digital world.
   Example: certain age groups may adopt certain ways of speaking to each other or using certain phrases that in turn, shape the way they communicate and personalize themselves (personality)
