3) Issues and recommendations from the perspective of police officers: Select one or two issues along with its recommendations that you believe are likely to make officers feel more supported and less embattled and discuss why.
4) Future of police: Discuss which issue (or issues) as presented in the report you believe is most critical to the future of police. Here, I am asking you to define the problem, situate it in its institutional / social context, link it to current events, and make an argument about the problem grounded in data or analysis you take from course material and outside sources.
5) Conclusion: Finish your paper by providing a discussion on the current state of policing in America and the areas that still need improvement.
The paper’s length is expected to fall within the range of 5 to 7 pages. Your paper must be at least five full pages of text to earn a C or better (not counting cover page/references). If your content requires additional space for thorough exploration, exceeding 7 pages is acceptable.
Page length is not the main consideration when grading, but it is one indicator of the amount of effort you put into the assignment.
