Please submit an original post (50% of your grade for this activity) by Friday at 11:59 p.m. (EDT) consisting of at least 500 words of robust discussion that responds to ALL of the following prompts:
- Critically discuss scientific methods supporting criminal profiling and argue which one represents the best model.
After posting your original discussion, you need to respond to TWO of your classmates’ original posts by Sunday at 5:00 p.m. (EDT). Each response (each supports 25% of your grade for this assignment) needs to include at least 200 words of discussion that are meaningfully supported with scholarly sources and formatted according to APA rules.
NOTE: Your responses will be rejected if they are NOT supported by scholarly sources and/or offer content falling below the 200-word minimum limit.
Please remember that for EACH statement that you make offering a claim of fact/truth that you did not witness or can present as common knowledge information NEEDS to be supported (in-text citation, narrative reference to your consulted source) with scholarly resources. Offering an in-text citation as part of the closing sentence of a paragraph does not cover your validation requirement (if applicable) for any of the preceding sentences emanating from what you borrowed from your applied scholarly sources.
As a graduate student, you will be expected to always do more than just repeat/regurgitate what your consulted source(s) may say about a particular issue. This means that you need to use your critical thinking skills (not your opinions) to evaluate, analyze, and apply the contributing knowledge your cited materials offer to your arguments and your educated conclusions.
NOTE: Your posts (original and responses) will be rejected if they are NOT supported by scholarly sources and/or offer content falling below the minimum word limits set (i.e.: no less than 500 for original posts; 200 for each response post).
