The objective is for students to understand the difference between EBP (evidence based practice), QI (quality improvement), and Nursing Research.
You may use the sample article attached here and the presentation from Module 1B to help you understand the difference clearly.
Instructions
– Identify an example from the area of your proposed specialty or population of interest (e.g., pediatric, family, adult, or acute care) and an early PICO you have identified.
– Identify the population/problem (E.g., a 6-year-old with leukemia, or an adult with hypertension, or a patient with cancer who has chemotherapy-induced neuropathy)
– Identify differences and reflect on how EBP, QI, and research can influence the care of the patient or the population of your interest. You may provide your own example to demonstrate your understanding of the difference and how an EBP, QI, and research will look to address the problem you have identified. Support with evidence from literature on the topic.
– Submit a discussion post in a timely manner (Not including cover page and reference page).
– Include appropriate headings and subheadings with citations and references in APA format.
