the templates and resources found in your textbook Making Data
Work for this assignment.
Instructions
For this assignment, you will continue to examine how
current trends or events impact historically marginalized groups. You will
begin the process for analyzing data to assist with determining methods for the
delivery of responsive services for specialized groups.
Design your goal and ask yourself,
“how will I achieve my goal?”
READ the ‘Making Data Work’ article. For this task, you
will begin the process of analyzing perception data, “data describing
individuals’ attitudes, knowledge, and skills” (Young, 2013). You will use
the Data Action Plan Worksheet to formulate your ideas for creating an intervention
goal, then you will create pre/post surveys and a Needs Assessment.

Define Clear Objectives
DESIGN: What is your Goal? Explain your objectives and intervention
goals.
Example: “My objective would be that
by the end of next school year, there will be a 50% increase in overall
attendance by Latino and socioeconomically disadvantaged parents at school
functions. These include parent-teacher conferences, PTA meetings, School Site
Council or Climate Committee meetings, Open House and Back to School Night,
driving on field trips, and other school events like Book Fair Family Night or
an Ice Cream Social.”
