reflexive assignment looking back on your overall experiences of skills practice across the year

The author uses a variety of references that are broad, relevant and come from
various sources to include books, academic journals, class materials (referenced
i.e. do not include PowerPoint or Class Notes). The author shows evidence of
independent thought along with an ability to grasp the theoretical concepts being
explored with the application of skills theory and concepts to the self and the
process and outcomes of skills practice i.e. group work, fishbowls, etc. A balance
must be achieved between self-reflection and theoretical insight/knowledge,
with one not dominating to the detriment of the other.

The author’s ability to display reflexive skills is paramount to this assignment.

journal/diary/stream of consciousness style). Where reference to specific skills
practices is made, this must be anonymised and must not be presented in
verbatim fashion – emphasis must be on the author’s process and outcomes in
relation to their experience (internally/interpersonally), not the descriptive
content of a piece of group work, fishbowl, etc. They need to evaluate their
emerging competencies and development needs; ethical awareness and
understanding of boundaries; the appropriate use of self as a therapeutic
