Report of a Psychological Study (60% weighting)
In small groups (up to 5 people), you will design and conduct a psychological study investigating an
area of individual differences covered in this module, using the quantitative methods covered in this
module. The area on which this focuses and the ethical considerations for the study will be signed off
by a member of the module team. You will then analyse the data and produce a 2,500-word (± 10%)
report written in the standard format (i.e., APA).
The purpose of this assessment is to assess that you have adequately achieved Learning Outcomes 2
and 3 for the module. Namely, that you are able to demonstrate the ability to design, conduct and
report psychological research using quantitative methods, and you are able to demonstrate an
appreciation of the complexity of measuring individual differences
