1. IN AN ANNOTATED BIBLIOGRAPHY, AFTER INDICATING THE EXACT CITATION (FOR INSTANCE JOURNAL ARTICLE OR BOOK) ABOUT WHICH YOU WILL COMMENT, THERE FOLLOWS A WRITTEN REVIEW OF THE CITATION. THE CONTENT OF CITATIONS MAY BE SHORT OR LONG, AND MAY ADDRESS A VARIETY OF ISSUES:
- SUMMARIZING THE MAIN POINTS THAT THE CITED SOURCE IS MAKING ABOUT THE CHOSEN TOPIC.
- INDICATING WHETHER THE SOURCE IS PRIMARILY A REVIEW OF THE RELEVANT LITERATURE ABOUT THE TOPIC, OR IF IT IS PRIMARILY A RESEARCH PIECE ITSELF.
- WHAT METHODOLOGY THE AUTHOR OF THE SOURCE USED TO COME TO THEIR CONCLUSIONS.
- AN EVALUATION OF THE WORTH AND VALIDITY OF THE SOURCE IN THE STUDY OF THE TOPIC.
- INDICATING WHETHER THE SOURCE IS RELEVANT TO THE TOPIC ABOUT WHICH YOU INTEND TO WRITE, OR NOT
2. THE ATTACHED VIDEO ABOUT WRITING ANNOTATED BIBLIOGRAPHIES, WHICH YOU WILL FIND ABOVE, MAINLY TALKS ABOUT MORE DETAILED VERSIONS OF THE ANNOTATED BIBLIOGRAPHY: IT IS MORE GEARED TO THE CONCERNS OF A GRADUATE STUDENT, INCLUDING MASTERS AND PHD CANDIDATES. WHAT YOU WILL BE WRITING WILL BE SHORTER, LESS COMPLICATED, AND WILL REFLECT THE FACT THAT YOU ARE SIMULTANEOUSLY LEARNING THE BASICS OF HEALTH INSURANCE AND MANAGED HEALTH CARE WHILE YOU ARE WRITING THE BIBLIOGRAPHY AND RELATED SHORT FINAL PAPER.
3. FOR THIS COURSE – YOUR WRITE-UP ON EACH OF THE FIVE (5) SOURCES WILL BE LIMITED TO 10-12 SENTENCES MAXIMUM, AND WILL FOCUS ON THE FOLLOWING:
