For your assignment this week, create a PowerPoint presentation where you will present your work to an undergraduate class on Research Methods. In this presentation, you will work toward identifying the key features of single subject research methods. Define and describe what these features are, citing scholarly sources to support your ideas throughout. Provide some discussion here as to why single subject designs are used, and in what way they are superior to between subjects methods of research. How might the concepts of prediction, verification, and replication be used to assess the reliability and validity of a single subjects research design? What are some of the weaknesses or drawbacks to single subject research designs? How do they fare in terms of internal, external, and social validity? Briefly define each of these, and why they are relevant to the topic of single subject research, and research in general. Include scholarly citations as needed within your main slides, and be sure to include visual aides, examples, and make use of the notes section as well throughout your presentation so as not to add too much information to the main slides. Remember to use the main slide as a way to emphasize the main points or ideas, and to use the notes section for the bulk of the information.
