You will do research to find a source that will support your thesis (argument.)
Put the book title that you read at the to of the page.
Put your thesis statement below the book title. The thesis must be an argument that has a clear and substantial counter argument that is triggered from something that is correlates to the book you read. It first has to be approved, and it must be inspired from your book.
Write the full citation in APA format – author, date of publication, title of article, publisher, volume, page number. This line goes back to the margin. The URL goes below the citation and should be indented 5 spaces. You can look up APA citation in www.purdueowl.com
Summarize one of your two sources using only paraphrases (use author’s last name. Do not use in-text citations here (as I already have the full citation) and quotes in one paragraphs of 100 words. Do not interject your own ideas. Just summarize the article – tell me what the article was about using your own words except for the quote (which will be taken directly from the article,) but continuously giving your author credit.
You may only use 1 sentence of quote/paragraph. The rest must be paraphrased, which means you must give your author credit throughout the paragraph using your author’s last name or a pronoun.
Your articles must be credible from reliable academic publishers, and they must relate to the book but not be about the book.
