What college experience and interests have led you to apply to the Honors Program? Write about my Bio 224 Integrative Lab and how I enjoyed working collaboratively with a small group on a focused study or lab. Elaborate on this. Discuss how the group- based project was focused on examining the effects of female ovarian fluid (OF) and multilocus heterozygosity (MLH) on sperm behavior and fertilization success in chinook salmon. I really enjoyed the research process and engaging in a topic I was unfamiliar with and quickly became interested in. Talk about the desire to achieve academic excellence and how I made Dean’s List both semesters. I strive to challenge myself not only in my classes but also in my own passions and interests. I am constantly seeking ways to become involved in my community whether it is on my campus, like being a member of Medical Brigades, or including myself in social work, serving as a volunteer tutor at the Wilson Park Community Center in Syracuse.
