Essay (4000 words, excluding cover page, references, tables and figures)
based on the content of the second and the third modules of the course
submitted to the e-class platform: (no
extension is provided)
criteria:
– structure: a clear and logical structure with an introduction,
main body and conclusion
(0.5 credit)
– sources: evidence of at least 15 different, relevant sources
(academic/scholarly journal articles, books and book chapters,
research institute reports) (1.5
credits)
– discussion: clear presentation of the main issues of the subject
(1 credit)
– evidence of an overall argument connecting the material under
discussion (1.5 credits)
– evidence of original thought in the construction of the argument
(1.5 credits)
Total: 6 credits
Important notes:
– No submission is considered for evaluation if the outline of the paper
has not been
discussed in the class (tutorials)
– The submitted papers are checked by the Turnitin system
– An oral examination may occur if the topic of the essay is different
than the one discussed
in the tutorial
– The only accepted file extensions are doc and pdf
– The files should be named: LastName_FirstName_Course Code
– Paper should be formatted Times New Roman, font size 12, 1.5 line
spacing
– The paper should abide by APA publication guidelines, detailed in the
6th edition – other systems employed in courses of the Digi program are
accepted too as long as they are used consistently
