Students will obtain an article from professional journals, magazines or online resources. The topic will be regarding the educational experiences of exceptional children or the policies and procedures that govern special education. Your article must be dated within the past 12 months. Citation of sources must be provided and strict adherence to APA style is required. A minimum of two pages is required. You will prepare a written critique of the article to include the following:
I. Overview of key concepts of the article.
Present the author(s), title of the work and discuss main ideas, arguments or conclusions of the work.
II. Impact on Current Policies, Procedures, Methodologies
Describe how the article impacts current methodologies, policies and/or procedures.
III. Critique (Your opinion supported by evidence from the text)
Write your evaluation of the work. Discuss any biases, strengths, weaknesses, gaps in the article. Provide specific examples as needed to support your evaluation.
IV. References
Include in-text citations and Reference page adhering to APA style.
