Each student has the creative freedom to take this data and interpret it in whatever perspective(s) they would like, but this 8-10pg paper must be a comprehensive & cohesive criminal analysis of the violent crime in your region. It must flow and come together in the end– one overall conclusion / argument must be clearly communicated in the end.
As part of this assignment, you are to create graphs, charts, tables, etc. to display the data in an easily interpretable way. I will not give you a minimum or maximum number of visual displays to use, but the data must be understood by the reader and majority of your paper is to be written by you (in words).
Of course, the paper should be written in Times New Roman – 12pt font, with 1.5 line-spacing and normal margins. Cite all sources in APA format; your Title & Works Cited pages do not count toward the 8-10 page requirement for this assignment. Use the Boba-Santos text as guidance for this assignment, but remember to also research and use other scholarly works to support your findings.
