Description
The world of Fahrenheit 451 is a dystopian world. A dystopia is a frightening, nightmarish, dysfunctional, violent society set in the future, ruled by a ruthless, brutal, corrupt, totalitarian government of privileged rich elites, who stress conformity and discourage and suppress accomplishment or competence by monitoring, technology, laws, and other means of control.
In this forum, I want you to respond to this in a full paragraph describing how you would feel if you lived in such a world. Also, are there any popular movies you know of that are set in such a world? What was your reaction to the movie? Can such a world happen to us?
Then respond to two of your classmates in at least three full sentences.

Remember, the purpose of the class is to teach you the rudiments of writing. In this discussion, I want you to respond to the short story/essay, “Love Is a Fallacy.” What does it teach us about love? About logic? After reviewing the fallacies used in the story, what fallacies can you spot in the speeches and commercials of politicians? If you quote a fallacy, if it’s in Latin, italicize it.
