For Week Three, you must provide a critical reflection – incorporating content (key concept, perspectives/arguments, methodological approaches, etc.) from your readings and your lived experiences related to sexuality. Remember your goal is to demonstrate you have read and you are able to apply and evaluate the material as a critical reader. You are encouraged to post additional responses to your peers that include images, comics, and/or links to videos, websites, relevant scholarship, etc. to provide various ways of learning about the weekly topic. You can develop charts, tables, outlines, etc. to share with your peers.
Your reflection should demonstrate that you have read and understand the concepts and information discussed. Avoid simply summarizing the material, instead provide a critical analysis of some key concept/problem/theme/theory related to the weekly reading, particularly as it relates to your lived experiences, sociological theory, and/or popular culture to education and society. You are encouraged to take excerpts, quotes, and/or incorporate outside research to develop your critical analysis.
You are not required to respond to peers for extra credit. However, you must include properly cited source material from the weekly readings/videos. You can post an essay, chart or PowperPoint.
